Now I've launched my new company, many people are asking me, so 'what is it that you do?' and 'what is a Virtual Assistant?' So I thought i'd write my very first blog on what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.
What do I do?
I love helping people to succeed, no matter what their goals are and believe I have a huge amount of experience in my many years as a Personal Assistant to do just that. Job satisfaction to me is a simple thank you and being appreciated for what you do.
What is a Virtual Assistant?
I have to be honest, I'm not a 'techie' person - more 'old school' - 'just organise me' kind of person. I've project managed global attendee delegate conference in San Antonio, Texas US, to private charter planes from the UK to La Rochelle, France. I've run incentive schemes for Project Managers in parallel with a round the world yacht race and hosted monthly global customer video conferences for Rolls-Royce. I've worked with senior Presidents and Executives and supported Customer Service teams around the world. I've managed up to 7 complex diaries in a busy environment ... BUT I'm also more than happy to format a CV that might need updating, copy type documents (quickly), ensure those minutes are captured at every meeting with actions updated every time - so you can stay on plan to hit your objectives.
So you see, a Virtual Assistant is a flexible, helpful and knowledgeable Personal Assistant you can hire for your own use for as many hours as you need during the working day. Simples!
